History of the Wolf Den BBS In 1990, the Wolf Den was born in Central New York. Over the next 4 years, we built the largest dialup Bulletin Board System in Central New York. With over 300 registered members, we ran a family oriented community board which provided many features to our users. During the height of our operations, we connected to Fidonet, the world's largest international messaging network. Fidonet sent messages to over 10,000 different dialup bulletin boards world wide even before the internet came to be. All this was provided on a BBS that ran in DOS and operated on a 100 Mb hard drive. |
